Choosing your wire diameter
3mm is very low stretch strong, as well as very durable, ideal for cruising & racing
and can be used on day boats, small cruisers & dinghies
2.5mm is lighter weight & strong, which is ideal for racing dinghies, allowing for lower weight aloft.
Both are very low stretch for durability and constant tension control,
which is vital to sail shape in race or windy conditions.
How do I choose correctly?Just choose your wire diameter & length from the drop down,
(e.g. - if you want a halyard with a wire overall length of say 7.6mtrs,
you will need to choose the 8mtr length option and then put the specific length in the box given)
We will cut the retrieval line to fit the wire length you choose
Provide your measurements as shown in the picture provided (A and B) or simply send us your old halyard with a covering note for us to copy, and we will send both back.
Remember when measuring, check it twice so we make it only once!
What is the 'A' measurement?
The 'A' measurement is the full length of the wire when stretched out on the floor,
and measured from the outside of the eye to the outside of the soft loop (where the rope attaches to) tension the wire when measuring to get a more accurate measurement.

We can make up bespoke halyards for most dinghies and small cruisers,
